WRIGHT COUNTY — Wright County Economic Development has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP) as it looks to move forward with development of the Wright County Agribusiness Park.
County officials are seeking a qualified firm to serve as the agent of record for marketing and brokerage services for the approximately 76-acre site. The selected firm will be responsible for promoting the property to potential developers and businesses, generating leads and helping identify opportunities that align with the county’s long-term economic goals.
The scope of work includes conducting a market analysis to determine the highest and best use of the property, developing a regional and national marketing strategy, and leveraging industry networks to attract prospective buyers or tenants. The firm will also be expected to evaluate interested parties and provide regular updates to county leadership throughout the process.
Officials say the project represents a significant opportunity to strengthen economic development in Wright County, particularly by attracting agribusiness and related industries.
Firms submitting proposals are asked to demonstrate experience in agricultural or industrial real estate, particularly in the Midwest, and provide a clear plan for marketing, pricing strategy and communication. Submissions must also include references and a detailed fee structure.
Proposals are due by April 30 at 4 p.m. and can be submitted electronically or by mail to Wright County Economic Development in Clarion.
The Wright County Board of Supervisors will review submissions and reserves the right to accept or reject proposals in the best interest of the county.
County leaders view the agribusiness park as a long-term investment aimed at expanding the local economy and creating new opportunities for growth in the region.
